REHABILITATION AND EXTENSION OF WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE IN BUFTEA CITY

Object of the contract consists in the enlargement and rehabilitation works of water supply networks and sewerage in the city Buftea, as follows:

EXTENSION AND REHABILITATION OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
Rehabilitation of water supply HDPE pipes, Total Length = 19 566 m;
Extension of water supply HDPE pipes, Total Length = 32 859 m;
Branching to the distribution = 4,000 users
Expand sewerage

Extension of sewerage network with vitrified clay pipes, Total Length = 45 444 m;
Manholes / intersection;
Connections to sewage system = 4,000 users;
Pumping through 13 wastewater pumping stations, fully equipped and automated;
The discharge pipe from the pumping stations with a total length of 4.503 m.
The project is co-financed from the Cohesion Fund through the POS Mediu (2007-2013) program.

CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE – TITAN, TINERETULUI AND CAROL

Construction of drainage from the right side of the box and other works to the sewerage system of lakes Titan, Tineretului and Carol –
The client: BUCHAREST CITY HALL, General Contractor: SC ROTARY CONSTRUCTII SRL

 

Scope of work – lowering the groundwater on the right side of the river Dambovita apron collector to A0.

Location – will perform in Bucharest on the right side of Dambovita River at the entrance to the village, the bridge Ciurel, to exit Lake Vitan.

Share pipe fitting – a drain will be installed at a depth of 6 to 8 m so that they can meet the requirement specification.

Pipe – HDPE or PP type diameters DN160 – 355mm which will be installed by horizontal directional drilling technology. She will have slot of 0.3-0.5 mm

The work is divided into several sections, each section will have a pumping station in Dambovita flush that will be linked through the WWTP SCADA Glina.

Also be installed HDPE pipe DN 160mm – 250mm who will act as transport of secondary drains water.

Construction of the building began in 1928 and was intended from the outset to be an imposing administrative office, being at that time the tallest building in the city. The architecture style is eclectic in nature , embracing the two styles , one neo-roman and another one even better represented at the time, the neo-Romanian . Neoromanian style include massive and deep bosses, continue with Hochparter that provides the main access and having a Piano Nobile decorated with loggia , developed on two levels continued in the richly decorated interior space for boardroom and festivities. Upper register , below the cornice , is treated with frequent frames , they come from the same semantic Brancoveanian style. The main body of the building benefits from the presence of a richly decorated marble staircase that connects the basement and 3rd floor . Celebration Hall is decorated with murals by Olga Greceanu . Two other paintings by the same author were found in Maier Office.Another important component of thebuilding – the clock tower is receiving attention paid to the upper area and materialized by a terrace with decorations and the statue of a knight with shield and armor ( conducted by Alexander Dumitriu in 1929 ) which, over the years, has managed to become a visual landmark of Bucharest. Body side of the building , built in a later stage , althoughcontinuingexterior facade elementsfrom main body, the interior shows no lavish architecture with a purely functionalist austere air , with lack of any fine architectural elements and arrangement of access vertical in the last bay as a large service stair .
In 2008 the building has entered a process of consolidation, which resulted in partial modification of interior architecture , but without affecting the flagship areas of the building . In addition, in 2009 a fire destroyed 90% of roof framing building. So in 2010 it was started an interdisciplinary project left from the historical study of the monument, cultural resource identification and justification of the intervention . This project led to the creation of new frameworks, that follows the initial shape of the roof , but also created new space with a well-defined architectural identity . Later works project were divided into two categories: artistic components – targeting restoration and reconstruction of interior and exterior decorative elements of architecture ,and construction and facilities – which aims to develop and functionalize rest of the building and outdoor spaces to accommodate current requirements.

“Extension and rehabilitation of the water network, new tank, extended sewerage network and new wastewater pumping station – Mihail Kogalniceanu”

• Objective 1: Household Water
New Tank
New tank consists of two units of 2X1000mc, above ground, prefabricated metal elements protected with vitreous enamel conf. Vitrium SR EN 1582/2007 type EN in three layers of baking.
Each tank unit was mounted on a concrete foundation slab type with circular perimeter beams, the outside diameter of the foundation is 13.59m.

 

• Objective 2: Rehabilitation of the transportation pipeline
The works consisted in replacing the two existing pipelines of asbestos, pictured in some cases on private properties, with a pipeline of high density polyethylene (HDPE) PE 100, PN 16, PN 10 and PN 6, with diameters between 355 and 315 mm, with a total length L = 14 350 m.

• Objective 3: Rehabilitation of Water
Rehabilitated the water network will consist of high density polyethylene pipes PE 100, PN 6, with diameters between 315 and 110mm, with a total length of L = 8213 m.
Route for rehabilitated water were provided a total of 29 homes and five valves buried rod handle and protective box.
• Objective 4: Rehabilitation of water connections
For consumers branching rehabilitation of the water distribution network were provided special pieces of plugging a pipeline to the water meter home. They also renovated a total of 168 connections with diameters of 25 and 40 mm.
• Objective 5: water network extension
Water network project has been made of high density polyethylene pipes PE 100, PN 6, with diameters between 160 and 110mm, with a total length of 7,150 m L =.
Route for water projects have provided a total of 16 homes and four valves buried rod handle and protective box.
• Objective 6: Expand sewerage network
The sewerage network with a total length of L = 14.173 m, was made of two types of pipes. Pipes of polyvinyl chloride PVC-KG, SN4, with diameters between 250 and 315 mm, with a total length L = 9.350 m. Pipes vitrified clay VC, with diameters between DN 250 and DN 400 mm, with a The total length L = 4823 m.
Route for sanitation were provided a total of 282 homes.

• Objective 7: wastewater pumping station
Wastewater pumping station consists of a part underground and part above ground. The underground station is a prefabricated high-density polyethylene, fully equipped, with dimensions of 3.60m and height of 7.95m diameter.

Consolidation and modernization of EMERGENCY HOSPITAL VICTOR GOMOIU

newg2The new building, modern and having the imposed standards, will have around 19000 sqm built, parking spaces underground and above ground, 10 new surgery rooms, a whole department of medical imaging, 8 elevators and a capacity of 287 beds. Children’s Hospital “Dr. Victor Gomoiu “is one of the oldest children’s hospitals in Romania. It was opened in 1927, at that time director was appointed Professor Victor Gomoiu.
Organized in the interwar period as a hospital that provided medical services the poor, the hospital began offering after the 2nd World War, strictly pediatric services, becoming today one of the leading children’s hospitals in Bucharest.
The Hospital construction consists in three buildings named A1, A2, A3 and a body linking the old and building the new hospital – A4. To meet the desired functions, it was chosen a vertical structure of reinforced concrete with dual-core, consists in rigid frames and the elevators and stairs for access.
The height: basement + ground + 6 floors + technical floor withdrawn Developed area of building: 17 282 sqm
Future-oriented, the new Children’s Emergency Hospital “Dr. Victor Gomoiu”
will meet the needs of people in a modern environment and will provide a medical service in compliance with European Standards.

Modernization of EMERGENCY HOSPITAL BAGDASAR ARSENI is completed

noutati2An investment project that consist in a intervention to the resistance structure through a new foundation in the inner court, upgrade the foundation elements that are retrofitted, new concrete shear walls, concrete frames and jacketing the existing elements. Works started in July 2007 and was delivered to the Beneficiary in the third trimester of 2012.
